The Berkana Institute, founded by Margaret J. Wheatley and Deborah Frieze, works in communities to build their resilience while their group, environment, or society transitions from one social structure to another.
The short video below describes Berkana’s “two loop” theory of change. One thing I appreciate is their transparency about the trauma and harm that is part of system decline, particularly for under-served and marginalized populations.
